Job Description

REQUIRED : GENERAL MANAGER - HR ( MALE) FOR MAJOR INDUSTRIAL PARTS MNC ( Job Ref. JXMTJ/20 )

COMPANY : A World Leader, our Client is a leader in India as well for its high technology products finding use in varied industries such as Automotive, Consumer Durables/ FMCG , Chemicals Industry etc. It has plants at several locations with a present turnover of about Rs. 400 Crores, targeted to grow manifold v. fast. Present manpower is about 300.Due new initiatives and acquisitions planned a need has arisen for an HR Lead position as under.

PROFILE : A Full Time MBA HR from a good institute with about 15 -20 years progressively growing experience in good Manufacturing Companies, preferably MNCs with a v. strong Employee Engagement Culture.

MAJOR SKILLS REQUIRED

- V, Strong experience in all labor / statutory compliances related matters such as IR, ESI,PF, Wage Agreements, Disciplinary Actions and Grievance handling , Liaison with all government and State level regulatory bodies , Expatriate related compliances, coordinating Administration and Housekeeping.

- V. Strong Employee Engagement, Retention, Motivation, Communication and Mentoring Skills. Should be skilled in listening, promoting dialogue and encouraging / giving feedback at all levels. Be able to use existing channels as well as develop new tools/ technologies to improve access to employees at all levels and diverse locations.

- Using various Engagement Tools and Interventions to coach managers / business heads on how to get best performance from their teams , retain them as well as build their commitment towards organization goals.

- Managing a busy Training Calendar as well as other measures such as Recognition Schemes, Family Meets, Excursions etc. to develop further employee bonding.

- Becoming the eyes and ears of the Top Management so that preventive / curative interventions can be made well in time such as succession planning, nurturing and grooming talent, identifying growth opportunities within the organization for highly talented people and developing a pipeline of external talent to be taken in as need be.

- Managing other HR Functions in tandem with above such as Strategic/ Operational HR Planning, developing and implementing appropriate HR policies, Performance Management and Appraisals, Compensation and Benefits etc.

- Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills – and the credibility to influence people at all levels and across all functions

- Experience in managing North Indian/ West Indian ( Maharashtra, Gujarat ) manpower required.

The ultimate objective is to develop a culture in the Organization that people are happy to go to work and deliver their optimum while maintaining a healthy work/ family balance.

Position reports to the Managing Director with strong and regular interactions with Factory Heads and Business Heads.

SALARY : Upto about Rs. 30 lacs per annum, negotiable

AGE : Upto about 45 years

LOCATION : Near Delhi, frequent travel envisaged.
